Netroots Nations is holding its annual convention in San Jose from June 20-23, 2013. If you’ve ever attended a Netroots Nation convention, you know that this is a big deal and should not be missed. If you’ve never been to one — I urge you to get your ticket now! This is an event you don’t want to miss.
Political activists, bloggers, journalists, politicians, social justice proponents, and people who are just curious about issues, current events and technology — benefit by attending Netroots Nation — touted as one of the biggest progressive family reunions in the country.
Dick and I went to the NN12 convention in Rhode Island last June. We were blown away! Not only were there dozens of hands-on trainings and more than 50 panels but we also had the chance to meet and reconnect with friends and allies from across the world at the evening mixers. Senate Elect Elizabeth Warren of Massachusetts and legal scholar Lani Guinier are two speakers I will never forget.
In addition to the panel sessions, trainings, and networking opportunities, the eighth annual gathering of Netroots Nation will include inspiring keynotes, film screenings and other engaging sessions designed to educate, stimulate and inspire the nation’s next generation of progressive leaders.
